Zoom and other layer
Click on:

Pan:
to change the center of map;

Zoom in:
to increase the map resolution;

Zoom out:
to decrease the map resolution;
When one of the previous is enabled, the mouse over the map is 
as pointer.
The selection will be active when you click over the displayed map.
Select:

Grid:
to show the grid

Continents:
to show continents as a layer over the variable

Borders:
to show countries'borders
-
Rivers:
to show rivers
