This Data Policy and Data User Agreement effective as of 23-05-2013 and is entered into by and between "" and Joint Research Center (JRC) FAPAR Team.

The purpose of this Agreement is to provide the Recipient access to a Limited Data Set for use in Public Research.

These data are produced by the Institute for Environment and Sustainability (IES) of the European Commission (EC) using the JRC chain for SeaWiFS(*) and the European Space Grid On Demand Facility (http://gpod.eo.esa.int/) for MERIS, respectively.

The acknowledgement of the work for making available these datasets publicly available should be done by co-authorship of scientific publication.

Any images and graphs reproduction must refer to this web site with the mention EC - JRC - 2013 http://fapar.jrc.ec.europa.eu.

We ask the recipient to not distribute these data to another party without authorization.

All SeaWiFS scenes (full resolution Local Area Coverage images and sub-sampled Global Area Coverage images) covering the study area have been processed and subsequently mapped with a nearest neighbor technique on a 2-km resolution regular grid, as explained in Mélin et al.(2002).
